At a Fashion Show for NARS, I was asked to be the make up artist for the model of French Connection and BCBG. Each clothing line chose their artist (I was flattered) and we worked quickly and under pressure (of course) to get the show ready to go. My model, Denise, was running late and didn't have time to have her hair blown out - so she was not having my "need to be a perfectionist". I reassured her that I liked her curls, but she still couldn't jump out of my chair quick enough.
Luckily though, she arrived on time and bare faced. There is nothing worse than when they show up with a full face so you have to get it off before you even start.
Her skin was beautiful.

She struck a quick pose for us!!Because NARS was the line I was working on in the photos, the make up is always over the top. The line is high color and edgy. French Connections look for Fall 2008 was a retro look so we decided on a heavily exaggerated eye as the focus.

Sahara balanced foundation, Ginger concealer, Sedona Pressed Powder, Gold Rush loose powder to highlight, Laguna and Casino Bronzer
Eyeshadow Duos: Jezebel and Demon Lover
Black moon liner, Black Orchid mascara (and giant falsies)
Deep Throat and Orgasm Blush
Morocco lip liner and Hellfire and Clelsea Girl lip lacquer
The show was phenomenal and Denise worked the catwalk like a total diva!!
