Natural Lash

Ok, so I thought eyelash extentions would be the next big wave - I did the training, got certified, bought the whole kit with every possible item available and soon realized that a lot more went into it than people thought.

Eyelash extensions are great for the woman who has the time and money to spend on proper application and maintenance. However, as with anything semi-permanat applied to your body (especially your eyes) , be watchfull of certain things:

1. Be careful of untrained technicians who are not ceritifed, do not buy top grade products and do not replace them reguarly. The glue especially has a short shelf life and must be properly stored.

2. Be watchful for technicians who do not practice one lash per extension. To save time and money, some people apply 1 extention to 2 or 3 of your natural lashes. Not only does that defeat the process of looking natural. it is damaging to your natural lash to have the weight not distibuted and will break them.

3. Lastly, extensions come in various lenths (.6mm - .12mm and up) and shapes (curls and straight) and colors. The technician should have a feel for the artistry using different lengths on different parts of the lashline to acheive the desired effect.

Good luck and enjoy them. I hope these tips are useful to anyone considereing the proceedure.
